VOTE YES ON MEASURE 34-327

FOR A STRONGER NORTH PLAINS COMMUNITY

Measure 34-327 will carefully expand our urban growth boundary to ensure that North Plains keeps the small-town livability we all love, while also ensuring enough land for jobs and housing (as required by law), and preserving existing farm land and forests.

Your YES vote on Measure 34-327 will prevent urban sprawl, and grow North Plains in a thoughtful way that works for our community.

We can have more shopping, dining, personal services, parks, trails, and bike paths — even a full-service grocery store!

Every resident of North Plains deserves a community we can be proud of.

Your YES vote makes that possible.

Vote YES on Measure 34-327 to make sure that the future of North Plains is planned carefully, with community input.

As North Plains grows, state law requires us to maintain a twenty-year supply of land for jobs and housing.

That means a careful and measured expansion of our urban growth boundary.

After nearly three years of community conversation about where North Plains should grow, the North Plains City Council approved an expansion recommended by both the North Plains UGB Advisory Committee and the City Planning Commission.

And after the expansion is approved, you can weigh in on how to grow our community in a smart, thoughtful way that maintains the small town character of North Plains and protects our rural way of life.

We can ensure that North Plains has a good balance of housing and economic development, proper zoning, roads and streets, water delivery, parks, and trails.

There are many decisions left to be made, and we will make them together.
